RAMBLER I I I,
Determined to„keep two-year-old Ricky, the 'son they adopted
when he was six days old; Mr. and Mrs. Ray McNeilly of Teronto
will take the case to the Supreme Court of Canada: The couple
were stunned by the unanimous decision of the Ontario Court
of Appeal that ruled that Ricky he returned to his mether, Belau
Agar, a Canadian citizen now living in Minneapolis. Miss Agar,
an unmarried mother, renounced her claim to Ricky when he was
a few days old and handed him over to the Victor home in
Toronto, operated by the United Church of Canada. She now
wants the child but the McNeillys claim she is "flamboyant and
unstable" and not fit to care for the toy. The Meteillys are
shown with Ricky and their natural son, John, five.
