lovely dinner served by ,the ladies
of the W.A,, the president of the
juniors; Nancy Sotileri{, acted as
toastmaster, with the first toast to
the Queen, P

proposed by Phyllis Wilson, replied
to by Mrs, J. H. Hird, Ruth Hib-
bert proposed a toast to the
mothers which was replied' 10 by

the daughters was given by Mrs.

capacity on Friday night in honor
of Mr. and Mrs, Harvey Bride
newlyweds. They were presented
with a coffee table, step-up `tables,
mirror and a purse of money.
Mrs. Glenn Johnston read the

Mrs. Bride made suitable replies

Fitzgerald are determined to see as much of the country as they
can—snd as cheaply as they can,• They're setting out from Toronto
on one tiny motor scooter and.their destination is Vancouver, with
a stopover to see the Calgary Stampede, They'll work wherever
they find jobs and don't particularly care when the trip Is finished.
They both .hail from London, Eng., but did not meet until they came
to Canada.

year.
Mrs. Crosby Sotheran, whohad
been_a member on the panel at the
Guelph Conference, gave some in-
teresting highlights of the even-
ing program.
The topic,. "The: Forum on Rural
Leadership", which was held at
Vineland last February was given
in a very interesting manner by
Mrs. Stan Bride, who had attended
the forum as a representative of
the Women's, Institutes of Huron,
County.
It was voted to give some assist-
ance to a family whose home had
been burned recently. Lunch
was served by the hostess assisted
by Mrs. R. Nichol, Mrs, K. Graham,
Mr, C. Gibson and Miss Minnie
McElwain.

ener. visited over the week -end
