Wray Cooper will visit her..
The C.G.I.T. announced that the
cook books were ready for sale.
Mrs. Lloyd led in prayer for the
missionaries and the roll call was
answered with a thought for Mo-
ther's Day by 30 people.
The worship service was conduct-.
ed by Mrs. C, Carswell,' assisted by
Mrs. John Craig and Mrs. Mel Al-
len. The theme :was "Think on
These Things". The program was
the •study of the junior groups in
the W.M.S.• care. It took the form
of a skit showing the way a girl
grows in knowledge as she shares
in the life of the Baby Band, the
Mission Band and Taking
part in the skit were Mrs, Cars-
well, Mrs. E. Harding, Mrs. J. Craig
Mrs. R. Gibson, Mrs. M. Allen and
Mrs. H. Pollock,
Following the presentation of the
shit discussion groups were form-
ed. The quiz about the Baby Band,
Mission Band and C.G.I.T, was dis-
cussed with Mrs. J. Warrell, Mrs,
W. E. Hainstoek and Mrs, H. Doig
as leaders and reporters for the
groups, The meeting was closed
with prayer.

FORDWICH—The Lidies' Auxi n
liary to Howick 'Legion ,met in the
Legion rooms for the May meeting,
with the president, Mrs. Blythe
Clarke, presiding, Mrs. Mary Mc-
Cann, secretary, read the minutes
of the last meeting, A donation of
$13.00 was made to •a zone project,
a, TV' set for Westminster Hospital.
Ten dollars was also donated to
the Legion scholarship fund and
$10.00 for one of the members who
rs in hospital as the result of a
car accident.
An imaginary•bake sale was con-
ducted and proved successful. The
members made plans for cars to
the zone rally. The zone comman-
der will visit, the branch .at the
June meeting. Lunch was served
by two members and a social' half.

opened with. Scripture reading by
the president, Mrs. J. Douglas. The
minutes of the last meeting were
read, by the, secretary, Mrs: Don
King.
Plans were made ,to assist the
W.A. with the annual garden party
to be held on June 11 in' the church,
basement. Mrs. Peter Brown and
hers.
Brown were named a com-
mittee to work •'with two ladies
from the W.A.
Miss Beatrice Wade gave the
treasurer's report. The next meet-
ing is to he held June 13 at the

The Grasby, drain court `was held
at -3,15 o'clock, Jas. Walsh appealed
his assessment maintaining his as-
sessment was too high. Mr. Walsh
signed a petition that an extension
of the• B. branch of the Grasby
drain in Morris be made to his line
at Highway No. 4.
