Wayne' Farrier read the Scripture lesson from Phillipians, Chapter 2, and Jean Martin told the Mother's Day' story. The junior choir was, in attendance and Don- ald Gaunt sang, "Memories of Mother". Seven young people,. Karen Gros- korth, ,Jean Martin, Muriel Moore, William and Gary Willis, Percy McClenaghan and Laverne Dowl- ing were in the service for Church membership. Rev,- R. A. Brook gave a splendid sermon on "Family DO". On Saturday, April 27, the Tri-County Y.F.C, 'quiz teem Composed of four Wingham .and two Walkerton quizzerif travelled to Toronto, where they quizzed against Toronto'S' top-notch Youth for Christ team. The quiz took place in. People's Church before an andlence of 4,000. The team Was composed of (from left to right) Danny Stuckey (coach),Laurie Stuckey, Velma Stapleton, Maureen Gotby, Doreen Burden and Lloyd Webb. These teen agers were quizzed on the first eight chapters of Matthew and the Tri-County team beat Toronto by a score of 170 to 120. The team had the, privilege of hearing Dr. Bob Cook, president of Y.F,C. International, deliver a challenging message both at the rally and again Sunday morning at. People's Church.
