Whin- field Robinson performed the ser- vice for the daughter of Mr. and, Mrs. W. F. Burgman, Wingham, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Pestell of London, England, Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an imported gown of white French satin. The full skirt fell from a scalloped, elon- gated waistline into a brief train. The dress featured a portrait neck- line, long buttoned sleeves and was distinctive in its simplicity. The White satin Juliette cap, trirtfmed with pearls, caught the 'chapel veiling of double' illusion, The bride carried an all-white bouquet of gardenia and stephanotis. Mrs. John Leighton, was matron of honor, Mrs, Neil .McDonald was bride's matron and Miss Claire Clark, bridesmaid. They wore identical waltz-length romance, blue chiffon over taffeta 'frockS. The 'draped 'floating ' panels ' in the back complimented .the bouffant skirts. They carried pale yellow „daisies, centred with deep blue iris, and wore head bands of the same daisies.
