funeral service at the Moir funeral
home, 'Gorrie, on Saturday at 2
pm, Burial • was in Hope Chapel
cemetery, Hullett Township, The
pallbearers were Howard Elliott,
Willis Mountain, Alex Taylor,
Lorne Walker, Dave Milloy and
William McDonald. The flowers

Harold David Passes
in London Hospital
GORRIE— Harold David, s'on. of
Mr. and. Mrs. Ambrose David, Con,
11, Howiek, --passed away on Fri-
day evening" in Victoria 'Hospital,
London, after+ a long illness, He
was in his 35th year.
Born in Lachine, -Quebec, and
at the age of nine went to live h.
Spruceciale, Muskoka, and came to.
Howiek Township in 1941, when.
he has . since farmed. He was a
member of St, Stephen's Anglican
church.
, On' April 9th, 1052, he was mar-
ried to Reita Vittie, who mourns
their loss with three -small child-
ren, Kdineth, 4, Joan 2Y.: gnu
Douglas ria years. Also surviving
are five brothers, William, Hunts-
ville;, Ernest, Walkerton; Frank,
Robert and Edward, Gora; fivc,
sisters, Mrs. Roht. (Lillian) Brooks,
Ottawa; Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy)
Hackett, -Kitelurner;\ Mrs, Earl
(Florence) Maxwell, Beamsville;
Mrs. Gilbert (Ivy) Monk, Holland
Centre. and Elsie, Walkerton; his
parents, Mr, and Mrs. A, David;
Howick.
Funeral service was 'at the Moir
funeral home on Tuesday after-
noon at 2 o'clock with the Rev, F.
E. Russell in charge of the ser-
vice. Burial was 'in the Gorrie
Cemetery. Pallbearers were , Jack
Bennett, Bill Bennett,' Mac New-
ton, Harold King, Harry king and
Archie Stcurnol.

neaday afternoon. It was sponsored

good attendance with members of
the Fordwich Institute also at-
tending. The salads were enjoyed
