Next Sunday mornings at . the Service of 'Morning Prayer, the Rev. H L. Parker will present the stripes and badges which the..girls have won during the past few weeks. SCOUT AU xI LIARr HEARS COMMISSIONER The regular meeting 'of the -Scout' and Cub Aua:'ilitity was held in the Legion .home with 22 members present. The meeting was opened; with the Scout Mothers' Promise' and "0 Canada". The ,president, Mrs. H. A. Fuller, welcomed the members and guests. The minutes of the last .meeting: were read and adopted, as was the treasures report. • Warren Callan; chairman of the group committee, spoke briefly on the drive for funds which was :tb be •carried out on Monday .evening. A motion was adapted to 'buy some equipment for the Scouts. ' Mr, Callan introduced the speak- er, peaker, District Commissioner' Arebie Gowanlock 'of Walkerton, Who' Spoke on "The Organization unci: History of !Scouting". He., also pointed out that • there are six million :Scouts and Cubs in the world, and between Eye and six hundred, in this Saugeen .District..
