range for the World Day of Pray-
er service,
Mrs. 0, G. Anderson gave a. very
interesting topic' from the study
book, "The Church in South East.
Asia", These countries are small
in size, but very densely populat-
ed and some, have A mixed popu-
lation of Many nationalities. Al-
most all have• been under foreign
rule , at ono time or another and
therefore they wish to have com-
plete freedom. Agriculture is their
main occupation. The people can-
not Wert' to start up in business
as a free enterprise as they do not
have capital enough of their own,
They have many nationalities, and
as a consequence, many languages
and religions and it is difficult to
achieve unity.
The Christian churches arc try-
ing to pool resources into a gen-
crai mission for evangelism, The,
Christian church is their, only hope.
The hymn "The Church's One '
Foundation" was, sung and Mrs.
J. C. McBurney closed the meeting
