Mrs. J. D, Heecroft, had charge
of the topic, "Making Christmas a
Pleasure instead of a, Burden" and
said that Christnias in the homes
is influenced greatly by the appre-
ciation of the gifts each receives,
and the determination of all to
make it a happy time, together,
Over-spending of time, money and
energy causes tension and frustra-
tion and we should create a liking
for the humble things .of life, the
homes and home folks" and the
