GORRIE BOY WEDS
AT BRACEBRINE
.GORRIE---A pretty wedding was
solemnized at the S.S.T.E. Mission
HOuse, Braeebridge, on Saturday,
,Nov, 24th at 3.30 p.m. when Ger-
aldine Frances, daughter of Mr,
'and Mrs, Roy Keetch, Bracebridge,
and Kenneth Ernest, son of Mr.
and Mrs., Walter Charles; Gorrie,
were united in marriage with the
Rev, Mr, Thornton officiating. The
church was decorated with mauve
and white mums and fern.'
The bride wore a waltz-length
gown of brocaded nylon over sat-
in with full skirt. Her floor-length
veil was of nylon net with head-
dress of pearls and rhinestones.
She wore elbow-length lace mit-
tens and carried' a bouquet of red
roses.
The maid of honor, MiSs Norma
Keetcl'i, sister of the bride, wore
pink brocaded nylon over silk rayr
on, topped with bolero. Her flow-
ers were pink and white roses and
lily-of-the-valley. She wore pink
nylon gloves with 'matching head-
dress.
Mr, Edward Stewart, Gorrie,
was best man. David Neilson, of
Gorrie, and Victor.Keetch were the
ushers.
For the reception at the Lilac
Inn, the bride's mother wore dus-'
icy mauve with a corsage of pink
roses. The groom's mother chose
dusty pink with a corsage of pink
roses.
For a wedding' trip to Niagara
Falls and the United States the
bride wore a light blue tailored
suit with black accessories.
, Guests attending from Gorrie
were Mr. and Mrs, Wilmer Nuhn,
Mrs. Walter Charles,, Mr, Edward
Stewart, Mr, and Mrs. David Neil-
son and Mr. Roy Charles.
The couple will reside in the
Anger house at the north of the
village on Highway 87. '
