Wednesday afternoon under ,the
auspices, of the Woman's Aseocie-
tion. The room was gay with bas-
kets of Christmas flowers and
greenery. The •large.tentre table
had •a modernistic touch, 'covered
with a green cloth with deep white
fringe. In the centre, restipg on
a. bed of evergreens, was a latge
piece of driftwood, painted white,
filled with red and white carna-
tions and greens. White candle,-
hOlders held hand -made candles
decorated with 'sequins, The steal
tea tables Est'attered around, the
room carried the same decorative
seheme, ••
Promptly at _three o'clock .Rev,
MacRae welcomed the guests
and .opened the sale. Then fol-
lowed a skit featuring the -dif-
ferent style of, aprons. Miss Caro-
line VVellwood, in an old-fashiotied
dress and long white apron, took
the part t of grandma, who had
come to the sale to see all the new
aprons, s9 different from those of
her day. '• ,
The platform had been turned,
into a living room With chairsaid
lamps, -and here. the inc'iclels came,
wearing „their aprons to show to
grandmother. First were the chil-
dren with their colorful "pinnies".

Caslick, Debbie Gibson, Marilyn .
Tiffin, Sandra Tiffin, Nancy Ginst,,
Gloria Lewis, Joan Bennett. ,Tlien
came the MacRae twins, Janet' and

triinmed with lollipops. They 'Are
followed by Paul Guest. and Nor*
Man McLennan in their overalls.
