tember 28, 1896,, at the bane of
her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs.
Alex Robertson, who lived then on.

ceremony was performed .by the
pastor of the Presbyterian Church
at Belgrave, They made their
.home for many years on the •.1Qth
Of E. Wawanosh, but Mr. Menzies
has been blind for any years, and
is a patient in the nursing .home
at, Mitchell at present, while Mrs,
Menzies ,has been at the .home of
her daughters, Ms. Greer, and
Miss Ruth Menzies of Toronto.

and W.A. held their September
meeting an Thursday evening at
the home of Mrs. Stuart Chamney
with 14 members present. Mrs.
E. Robinson was in charge and
opened the meeting with hymn
399, followed by prayer and the
Lord's Prayer in unison. Mrs.
Hardy read the Scripture lesson
from the first and :third chapters
of Ephesians, = '
Mrs. Sam . Thompson gave " a
reading and Mrs. Gordon Naylor
read an article on christian stew-
ardship. The president, ..'Mrs .
Hardy, presided for the business:
The minutes of the August meet-
ing were approved as read and, the
offering was received by Donna
Chamney. The study book was' in
charge of Mrs, H. Jefferson and
the meeting closed in the 'usual'
manner:after`singing hymn 402.
Mrs. S. Jefferson "presided over
the W.A. meeting; Psalm 109 was
read in unison and Mrs. S. Cuain-
ney gave a reading entitled "Speak
Gently", The minutes of ' the
previous meeting were read and
the financial report given. Hymn
568 was sung in closing. A' bazaar
Was held for the W,M.S.
Lunch was served by the hostess
assisted by Mrs. Tom Armstrong
and Mrs. Sam Thompson.

scout meeting for Troop Leader
Brian Rider. Brian was one of
the first members of the troop and
former Panther Patrol Leader.
Before leaving, Brian had earned
his Queen Scout, . which is the
highest award in . the Scouting.
