gratulated on the, success of its
annual frolic, which was made pos-
sible by god planning and hard
work on the part of all Ito' mem-
bers,
The meeting was arranged by the
home economics and health com-
mittee and Mrs. Leslie Douglas
gave a motto, "No woman is a slave
to housework, bitt rather the way
she does it." Mrs. Douglas said,
"Your time is a ' commodity of
which you are given a fixed
amount each clay with which to
accomplish maximum results. Time
is worth money and like money it
can be put to good use or just
frittered away." She quoted
Franklin as saying, "Dost thou
love life? Then do not squander
time, for that is the stuff life is
made of." Three signs are a guide
post—to save time; to simplify
work; to save yourself. The demand
on your time is increasing. The
speaker asked "How wisely are you
using your twenty-four hours? Are
you 'following the old routine that
will not meet the demands of the
day? Are you a victim of habit?"
o Mrs. Wm. Hart reviewed current
