Band secretary for the Presbytery,
was the special speaker and was
introduced by Mrs, Gilbert' Bee-
croft, Miss Jackson told a very
interesting story of ,Jimmie, Stand
By, who. was a special friend 'of
Dr. Grenfell, the missionary on the
Labrador coast, She told how Jim-
mie • could be depended on to 'help
in any emergency. and how he had'
his hands and feet frozen while,
waiting for the doctor to come
through a storm.
Mrs. McRitchie was in charge of.
the graduation program when
members from the Baby Band were,
taken into the Mission ;Band..Those
