Afternoon proceedings included a tug-of-war and a, girl's softball game with Brussels defeating Stratford 3-2. In the evening at Brussels Park a program of music was given by the Goderich Girls' Band and the following artists pmsented some top-line entertainment: Miss Doris Johnston, marimba soloist; Miss Lillian Sinclair, in- strumentalist; Clark Johnston, solo- ist; J. Everett M' es, magician and Harvey McGee, soloist. After a fireworks display a dance was held in the town hall, Golf Bridge . The tractor he was driving near. Lacienow rolled into a ditch pinning him beneath it. Coroner Dr, W. A. Crawford con- ducted the inquest. The Crown At- torney was H. Glen Hayes. He was trying to close a trap door of an asphalt mixing machine when ,the acci- dent occurred.
