Mr. Fitch was born on a farM h
a short distance north of his n
present home and with the excep-
tion of a few years spent in other
parts of the country, has resided
in HewiCk, His -wife, the, former
Charlotte Willits, died March24th
this year.
There are eight Children in the
Fitch family: James, Turriberry;
Mrs. Clark (Kate)" Renwick, How-
ick; Mrs,. B. (Mary). Keemar, Tor-
onto; Mrs. Harvey (Tena) MeDer-.
mitt, Fordwich; Mrs. Jack (Aline).
Pitcher, Morrisbank; Mrs, Lloyd
(Ethel) Montiornery, Wingliann;-
Jack, of •Howick and Mac. There
are nine grandchildren and 'eleven,
great-grandchildren.

at the home of Mr. and Mrs', Lloyd
Montgomery, south of Wingham, on
Sunday, 'to celebrate the 90th birth-
day of their father, indluded in the
gathering were Mr. Fitch's brother,.
Arthur, who is 80 and his sister,
Mrs. J. Smeltzer, of Regina, 83. The
latter flew to Ontario a few months
ago and will return. to her home by
