ion was held at Moorefield Corn-

Minutes of the preldotia meeting
and the treasurer's report were
read" by Mrs. George Martini,' It
was stated that $10.00 had (been
Sent to Miss 'J. Bieck, missionary
at Bella Coola.
Mrs, Jesse Wheeler reported
there had been 23 homes and 47
hospital visits to the sick Made.
Cards of thanks were read. An in-
vitation was accepted to•meet with
the W.M.S. of s Brick United
Church, on June 18, when.. the
guest speaker will be Rev, Kenneth
Beaton. The group decided to try
and send someone to the school for
leaders 'at Alma College ,at St:
Thomas.
The worship service was in
charge of Mrs. C. A. Krug's group
and opened with a hymn • and a
poem, "God Dreams", • by Mrs.
ICrug. ,Scripture reading from 12;
Corinthians was read by Mrs. -Carl,
Procter and Mrs. Lyle, Hopper led
in prayer.
The study period was in the
form of a panel discussion on'
"The Work of the United Nations"'
with Mrs, Krug, Mrs. L. Hopper
and Mrs. Carl Procter taking part,
W.A. Holds Meeting
The meeting adjourned and the
W, A. held its meeting with Mrs.
Geo. Michie in charge. The theme
was "The Psalm *of Social Con-
sciousness". Psalm 11 was read by
Mrs. Edgar Wightman and medi-
tation by Mrs. George Michie, 1 ol-
lowed by prayer and a hymn.
• The treasurer reported there was
$854.12 on hand, A.discussion was
held concerning sending a delegate
to the Five Oaks Training School
at Paris. The garden party com-
mittee gave its report.
It was suggested at this meeting
that Mrs. George Midhie and 'Rev.'
C. A. Krug met with the other
churches in Belgrave to suggest sa
community lunch after 'the church
services on the Centennial Sunday ,
during the Morris celebrations.
The meeting closed with a hymn
and the Mizpah benediction.
