Letters of interest were read from the MacKay family in India, the Malcolms and Miss Jessie Gordon from Formosa. Miss Agnes Mitchell led in the dedica,- tory prayer, following the offering. The topic, "What Is the World Offered?" was presented in a most interesting manner by Mrs. J. Mc- Kague and Mrs. W. McKague. Hinduism embraces many of the beliefs of the Christian religion but not Jesus Christ, Hindus believe that their religion would be a rem- edy for world strife where Chris- tianity has failed. Communists be- lieve they have the solution and say that the Christian church talks without action. Secularism teaches regard for this life but no regard Lou' a future life. Our country can- not be called a Christian country until we show to others what Christianity really means. Reports of the Presbyterial held in Brussels Were given by Miss C. Isbister and Mrs. T.
