by prayer.
A discussion was held concern-
ing a garden party to he held seine
time in June. A letter of thanks
for a donation was read from the
Mission to Sailors on Inland Wa-
ters, A hymn and the Mizpah bene-
diction closed the meeting. •
DISCUSSES
BRANTFORD TRIP
(Too late for last week)
BELGRAVE—The regular meet-
ing of the C.G.I.T. was held on
Friday evening, and opened with
the C.G.I.T, Purpose and a song.
The minutes of the last meeting
were read by Patsy Logan and the
treasurer's report was given ,hy
Margaret Wightman. .A trip to the
Brantford Six Nations Reserve Was
discussed.
Marlene Purdon, and Marilyn
Pengelly were in charge of the
worship period. The call to wor-
ship was read by Marilyn Pengel-
ley, followed by a hymn. ,
A story, "Matter of Importance",
was told by Mrs. Ted Fear. Psalm
51. was read by Marlene Turden
and Marilyn Pengelly led in pray-
et'. This service closed with the
benediction.
The study book about the church
and Canadian Indians was taken
by Mrs. Ted Fear, Lorna jolt and
Kay VanCamp.
The Meeting closed with 'Taps,

ing of the Ladies' Guild of Trinity

Thursday afternoon,
The president, Mrs. Lawrenee
Vannan was in charge and. opened
ethe meeting with a hymn ':followed
by the prayer of General;Thanks-
giving and the Lord's prayer. `le,

It was decided to hold a sale of
articles at the next meeting. 'Fees

contest. Rev. Eren de Vries closed
the meetinc, with prayer. Grace was
sung and lunch was served by the

Agriculture Will
Be W.I. Theme
BELGRAVE—The Women's - In-
stitute meeting will be held in the
community centre on May 15, the
theme being agriculture. The roll
call will he answered by naming
an improvement needed in homes
or on farms. The address will be
given by Mrs. A, Coultes and Mrs.
Clarence Wade .will sing a solo.
There will be a sale of 'articles
sewn, grown or made during the
winter months. Lunch will be
served by Mrs. Stanley Cook, Mrs.
Richard Procter and Mrs. Cora

COUNCIL MEETING
The Morris Townshil Council
met in the township hall on April
30th, with all the members present.
The minutes of the last meeting
were read and adopted on motion
of Stewart Procter and Wm. El-
ston.
