Curtis has received Word of the death of her sister-in-latv; Emily' Ann Cur- tis, widow of the late Alexander Messer in Saskatoon; Sask., on April 10th. The funeral service was held in the United Church, Young, on April 14th, with interment in Young Cemetery. Mrs. Messer, a former resident of Bluevale, was in her 86th year and was a sister of the late Joseph Curtis. Surviving are two sons, Will of Coderre, Sask., and Lorne of Young, and one daughter, Ethel (Mrs. O'Myria), of Coderre. A brother, Charles T.
