A By-Law to authorize payment
of fire trucks for attending fires
in the Township of Morris.
Whereas agreements have been
made with the Town of Wingham
and the Village of Blyth to 'attend
fires in the Township of Morria to
which they are called with the
Community Fire TrUck in which
Morris Township has a share.
And Whereas the Town of
Wingham and the Village of Blyth
Must chatge a fee to cover the
wages of men and the expense Of
operating the fire truck.
And Whereas the Fire Insurance
Companies will not pay for fire
trucks attending fires and the
Township of Morris is held respon-
ible for the payment for such
services.
Therefore be it enacted and it is
Hereby enacted by the Council of
the Township of Morris that each
resident or owner having a fire
truck attending a fire at his or het
place must pay for the first hour of
his service and the Township of
Morris will pay the balance of said
s ervice.
