Mr, Ringrose was a member of St. Andrew's Presby- terian Church in Wingham. Eighteen years ago he married the former Nellie Walters, of Wingham, who survives. Also sur- viving are two nephews, 1t. 10, Bry- an, of Orangeville, and ,T, L. Bryan, of Erin. Funeral service was held on Monday, April 2nd., from the R. A. Currie & Sons funeral bottle. Rev. Alexander Nimmo officiated and interment was in Wingham Ceme- tery. Pallbearers were R, H. Earl .Tohns, a former resident of Wingham, at his home at 60 Brule Gardens, in Toronto. A member of the Board of Edu- cation staff in Toronto for 30 years, he received his early education in Wingham public and high schools and at Toronto Teachers' College. He taught school at Cayuga and tit Grace Street Public School for' about ten years, before joining the Toronto Board of Education, where he became executive secretary to the director of education for Ont- ario, Dr. C. C. Goldring. A good athlete he worked on all school sport projects and took, a prominent .part in organizing and directing the .swimming program oP summer schools. Mr. Johns was a member of the Empire Club of Toronto, and a past master of St. Andrew's. Masonic Lodge..He was a .member. and elden. of the session of Kingsway Lamb, ton United Church. Suviving besides his wife. are two daughters, Joyce (Mrs, W. S. McIntosh) of Toronto, and Gwen (Mrs, ('Dr.) E. S. King Was Culross Resident There passed away in Wingham General Hospital, on March 29th, 1956, Mary Moir, widow of the late George King. She was born August 29th, 1879, in Culross Township. a daughter of pioneer settlers", Joseph Moir and Annie McMillen. Mrs, King lived most of her life On the 2nd. Concession of Culross West, Six' years ago she came to Teoswater, where she lived until her death a few days ago. Mrs. ICing was noted for the ster- ling 'characteristics of honesty and Sincerity, She hovel friends and neighbors and was deeply attached to the fine old things of life. She is survived by. four sons and two daughters, Edwin" and Alex), of London; George, of Tees- water, and Joe on the old home- stead; Dorothy (Mrs, L. Downs) of Brighton; :Jessie (Mrs. Albert Bates) of Guelph, and two brothers, Milan, of Wingharn, and ,John, of Turnberry. There are twenty grqndchildren.
