Dies in 86th Year
'Mary Charlotte Graham, a life,
long resident of this district, died
in the Wingham General Hospital,
on Sunday, March 18th, after a
short illness, She was In bet 87th
year,
A native of Turnb.r."rry Township;
-she was a daughter of the late
Robert and Margaret Graharn,-,
pioneer residents of the district,.
Miss Graham was a member of
the Presbyterian Church, and had
been an active member of the
Women's. Missionary Society,
Surviving are two brothers,
Thoas, of Wingham, and Frank,
of Windsor. Two brothera, Tables
and. Malcolm, and two sisters,
Elizabeth and Beatrice, all of
Wareham, predeceased her,
Funeral service will be held froM
her late residence •on Sohn Street
today (Wednesday) ft 2 p.m., with
the R. A. Currie & Sons funeral
home in charge of the arrange-
ments. Rev. Alexander Nimmo
conduct the service and interment
will be in Wingham 'Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Norman Riiv-
tout, R, A. Spott'on, Fred Mac-
Lean, Jim Murray, Alan Williams
and Gordon Elliott.

Mac was a member of The Ad-
vance-Times staff six years ago.
Mrs. Josiah Wells
Dies in 86th Year
Mrs, Josiah Wells died in Wing-
ham on 'Wednesday, March 14th.
She was in her 86th year.
Born in Long Buckby, Nor,
thamptonshire, England, she was
the former Manna Smith. She
came to this country early in life
and has been a resident of Wing-
ham for many years. Her hus-
band, the late Josiah Wells, pre-
deceased her five years ago.
Surviving' are one son, Harry,
of Essex County; three daughters,
Mrs. Percy Hogg, Mrs. Joseph
Montgomey and Mrs. George
Soiling, all of Wingham.
Funeral service was 'held on
Saturday, March 17th, from the
R. A. Currie & Sons funeral home.
Rev. D. J. MacRae officiated and
interment was in Wingham Ceme-
tery.
Pallbearers were Roy Manual,
Frank }topper, Archie Peebles,
Fred MacLean, W. A. Ga,lbraith
and Thomas Fells,
