WINHAM MINISTER BELORAVE-The regular meet- ing of the Ladies' Guild of Trinity Anglican Church was held Thurs- day afternoon at the home of Mrs. C. H, Wade with the president, Mrs. Lawrence Vannan in charge. The meeting opened with a hymn followed by prayer by Mrs, Yartnan, The Lord's prayer was repeated in' unison and the Scripture lesson was read by Mrs, Wm. Brydges. Minutes of the previous meeting were given by the secretary, Mrs. R. Procter. Plans were made for the St. Patrick's tea and there was a discussion about the making of vestments for the choir. Mrs. 5. VanCamp and Mrs, Clare VanCamp sang a duet, "God Will Take Care of You", accompanied by Mrs. C. Wade. The guest speaker, Rev, H. L. Parker of Wingham, chose for his subject "Life in a Monastery" and told of his pre-Lenten retreat to the Anglican Monastery of the Holy Cross at West Park, New' York. Mrs. William Brydges gave a reading. The roll call was answer- ed with an Easter verse and the meeting closed with prayer by Rev. Parker.
