marriage, Ethel Mary White, of
Hamilton spoke her nuptial vows
to Rev, Russel David Horsburgh,
minister of Zion United Church in
Hamilton. The bride is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland Croft,
of Brantford, the groom, a son of
Mr. and Mrs, Walter Horsburgh of
Pordwieh, and was for a number
of years minister at Sudbury and
at Creighton. • -

a Waltz-length dress with Empire
lines and bolero jacket,. a head-
hugging bat with a shoulder veil
in blue and carried carnations and
roses.
The matron of honor wore a
shrimp coloured frock with feather
hat to match.
• The reception was held in Alum-
ni Hall, McMaster University. The
bride chose a green jersey en-
semble with a squirrel jacket and
white hat for a trip to Florida.

afternoon in the Anglican church
with a rather small attendance.
Mrs. Wray Cooper, President of
the W.M.S. of the United Church
and Mrs. Stan Ferester, president
of the W, A. of the Anglican
church, presided, Owing to the ill-
mess of Mrs, Eldon Ankenman,
who was to have been the guest
speaker, a splendid paper which
had been prepared by her was
given, by Mrs, Harold Pollock, The
theme was "One Flock, One Shep-

The prayer for the Queen and
members of the Royal family was
given by Mrs, J. W. Hird and for
Christian women around the world
