Unite] Church, Mass Jean Sparling's
school frorn Ethel presented its
Christmas concert in the Gorrie Com,
munity Hall on Friday evening,
Choruses, piano solos and a flash-
light drill featured the opening, fol-
lowed by, the operetta "Old King
Cole's Court", There were two scenes
in the Operetta, the second being the
aeception, Colorfnl costumes were
worn and all parts were well taken,
that of the court jeater being particu-
larly enjoyed, /

Commencing January 2 mail will
be brought into Gorrie, Fordwich and
Wroxeter by truck from Harriston
arriving at 12,14 noon. Mail will be
taken to Harriston at 3.20 p.m. to
make connection with the• C.N.R.
trains to London arid Toronto.

were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Robt. Dane on Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ruttan were
visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Hockeridge of Toronto over the
Christmas holiday. They were accom-
panied by Mr. Watson, of. Brusfiels.

visited during the holidays with the
latter's grandmother, Mrs. Thos. Nash.
