Lays Large Double Egg
Mrs. Charles Mc.Cutcheon has a
red rock hen which made an out-
standing contribution to the Christ-
mas egg basket When she laid an egg
7% inches long 10 inches in circum-
ference. Inside the large egg was a

In the account of the Chirstreas
program at S. S. No, 2, which appear-
ed last week, it was stated that the
Highland Fling seas danced by Elaine
Kirton. This was ;a case of mistaken
identity. Phyllis Grant danced the
Highland Fling instead of Miss Kir-
ton.

The annual Christmas concert of
School was held in the church
basement on Wednesday evening, De-
eember 23rd.
Earl Anderson was chairman, The
program consisted of plays, recita-
tions, piano duets, accordian solos,
vocal solos and duets and readings.
One of the plays was put on by the
Young People's Union of the church
and one by the pupils of Belgrave
School. Chorus numbers were given
by the pupils of S.S. No. 5, Morris,
and a pageant by the junior room of
Beigrave School,
Rev. C. D. Cox gave a short speech
and related the Christmas story. The
accompanists for the program were
Mrs. George Johnston, Mrs. George
Michie, Miss Elaine Bolt and Miss
Donna Anderson. Santa Claus appear-
ed in time to distribute gifts and a
delicious lunch was served at the
dose.
S.S. No. 5 Concert
The school house at S.S. No. 5,
Morris, was filled to capacity for the
annual Christmas concert, held on
Monday evening, December 21st, un-
der the direction of the teacher, Miss

Trinity S.S. Concert
Trinity Anglican Church Sunday
School held a Christmas concert and
social in the Forester's Hall on Tues-
day evening, December 22,
Rev. W. E. Bramwell acted as the
chairman for the program which was
presented by the children under the
direction of the superintendent, Mrs.
Richard Procter.
Included in the program were reci-
tations, choruses, readings, a vocal
trio entitled, "Angels We Have Heard
on High", by Kay VanCamp, Helen
Marks and Florence Bacon, and two
plays, "The Christmas Burglar" and
"The Practical Test."
After the gifts were distributed to
the children, lunch was served by the
uadies Guild and a social time was
enjoyed. A Christmas tree, ablaze
with lights and glittering ornaments,
enlivened the evening.
Mr, and Mrs. Harry Mackay, of
Walkerton, have been guests of their
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Levi Bieman, and all spent
Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Ted
