MANUFACTURING PLANT
TO LEAVE
After three years of development
and expansion in Palmerston, the
manufacturing firm of American Art
Clay Company is planning to move
its plant, equipment, -and such' of the
staff as care to move, to New York.
The firm has, during the time men-
tioned,, operated two plans, one on
Eastern Avenue in Toronto, and one
in Palmerston, the upper floor of the
building built prior to the first Great
War by Major Wooldridge. In Tor-
onto they manufactured oil paints for
artists' use, fingerpaints and tempera
colors for schools and commercial
show-card writers. In Palmerston
modelling clay, chalk and 'crayons
rounded out their line.
