The xvil call brought forth a splendid reanonse of Christmaa thoughts,. stressing the im- portance of the real meaning of Christmas, Mrs. Wray Cooper presided for the Christmas worship service, Scripture readings, prayers and readings inter- ;merged with carpi singing made a very interesting' meeting. Mrs, Johnson, Mrs. Carswell and Mrs, C. ssamsea assisted, Mrs. gttinger gave' a reading urging the members to try to recapture the thrill and sgiory of the Gospel' as one hearing it for the first time. A story entitled, "The Hely Night", was read by Mrs. Horshurg, The solo, "Gloria In Exceleis Deo" was beauti- fully sung by Miss Minnie McElwain, Mrs, Wilson served refreshments at the close of the meeting and a social half hour was enjoyed. Mrs, G. Forster President The December meeting of Trinity W, A. was held in the basement of the church, Thursday afternoon,. Mrs. M. Armstrong, president, opened the meeting with the member's prayer. Mrs. S. Forester read the Scripture lesson. Minutes of the last meeting were read, after whisk Mrs. B. Har- grave gave a report on work done throughout the year and her treasur- er's report showed a very successful one. Mrs. W. Sothern gave the report of the Little Helpers. A. short Christmas program under the converieeship of Mrs. R. Allan and Mrs. E. Ferguson was then given, as were several read- ings, carol singing, a demonstration on Christmas decorations and a num- ber by two of the Sunday school children. Rev. Mr. Fuller conducted the elec- tion of officers fo,r 1954: Honorary president, Mrs. M. Arm- strong; press, Mrs. S. Forster; set. vice pres., Mrs. R. Foster; 2nd. vice Ares., Mrs. B. Ferguson; secretary, Mrs. J. Strong; treasurer, Mrs. E. Hargrave; Dorcas secretary, Mrs. L. Jacques; secretary-treasurer Guild, Mrs. F. Graham; pres. Little Helpers, Mrs, R. Ninth Concession, suffered a severe trapture - above the knee while haul- ing logs on the Tenth Concession.
