honor wearing a nile green gown In
princess lines with flowery hoop skirt
of nylon net over taffeta anti bodice of
French lace with nylon caplets and
mitts to match. She wore a floral
headdress of net with contrasting flor-
al trim, and carried a nosegay of
cream chrysanthemums, The brides-
maids, Mrs. A, P. Head, of St. Cath-
arines, cousin of the gra0M and Miss
Kathleen Lane, of Holyrood, were sim-
ilarly gowned. Mrs, Head in violet,
with a nosegay of yellow chrysanthe-
mums, and Miss Lane in sunflower,
carrying a nosegay of mauve chrysan-
themums.
Robert Miller, of Cobourg, cousin of
the groom, was groomsman.
Following the marriage ceremony, a
reception was held in the church par-
lors at which dinner was served to
seventy guests, The bride's mother re-
ceived in a gown of deep purple crepe,
with net trim and black accessories.
She wore a corsage of cream chrysan-
thorium% She vas 'asStsted by' the

teal blue faille with'tuclted panels and
gunmetal and pink accessories, She
wore a corsage of deep pink roses,
For a weddinz trip to Northern Ont-•
aria and Quebec, the bride donned a
navy suit with a pink feather hat and
pink and navy accessories. She wore a
corsage of pink rosebuds,
On their return the couple will live
on the groom's farm near Luoknow,
Sodality Elects
New Officers
On Monday, September 14, the Sod-
ality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, met
for the purpose of election of officers
for 1953-54. The meeting opened with
the hymn. "Come Hal? Ghost" followed
by prayers led by the president, Mary
Louise Flach.
After the minutes and roll call, the
election took place under the chair-
manship of Mary Louise. Election
results were as follows: President,

Under the new .executive it was de-
cided that no lunch would ho served
in the future but proceeds were to go
to the funds. •
