TREASURER'S SALE OF LANDS IN ARREARS OF TAXES

BY VIRTUE OF A WARRANT under the hand of the Warden and Seal of the County
of Huron bearing date the 7th day of July, 1953, and to me directed, commanding me to levy upon
the lands mentioned in the following list, for arrears of taxes thereon together with all costs incurred, I
hereby give notice that unless the arrears and costs are sooner paid, I shall proceed to sell the said
lands, or as much thereof as shall be sufficient to discharge such arrears of taxes and charges thereon,
at my ,office in the Court House, Goderich, by public auction on Tuesday, November 3rd, 1953, at
the hour of two o'clock in the afternoon, in compliance with the Statutes in that behalf. Notice is
hereby further given that if any of the said lands remain unsold an adjourned sale will be held on
Tusday, November 10th, 1953, at the same hour and place, and at which Municipalities may reserve
the right to purchase any of the said lands.

The Mission Band held their regular
meeting in the church school room on
Sunday, The meeting opened by re-
peating the members purpose, The
Scripture lesson was read from John
6: 5-14, by Harvey Snell, Prayer was
given by Mrs, Norman McDowell and
reading by Ronald Snell. The Study
book was given by Mrs. Hugh Blair
and a reading by Lyle Smith. The

Six members of Bluevale Women's
Institute attended the A, C. W, W,
Convention in Maple Leaf Gardens,
Toronto, on August 21st, They went
by bus with Members from Beigrave
and Ethel and enjoyed the pageant
"Dominion of Destiny," .given under
the sponsorship of the Federated vv0.
men's Institiltea of Canada. Those at-
tending were: the President, Miss
Emma Johnston, Mrs. John Wick-
stead, Mrs. M. Bailie, Mrs. Stanley

W. I. September Meeting
The September meeting of the
Women's Institute will be held at the
home 'of Mrs. Alex MoCra.ckin, on I
September 10th. The roll pall will be'
a donation of slips, seeds, bulbs and
plants for sale. Mrs, R. A. Brook will
give the motto, "The Amen of Nature
is Always G. Flower," Mrs. Jas. John-
ston will give current events. High-
lights of the A.C,W.W. Conference will
be'discussed, Refreshment committee,

On Thursday, September 3rd., the
W.M.S. of Bluevale United Church,
will have as guests ladies from the
congregation of Whitechurch United
church. The two churches will be in
