A spraying demonstration for the
control of horn flies will be given at
each looation.
In 1951, these farms were rented by
the Ontario Department of Agricul-
ture and divided into three sections.
The plowed, reseeded and fertilized
section on each farm is now carrying
approximately as many cattle as the
whole farm did before treatment,
These field days will provide an
opportunity to learn the cultural prac-
tices employed, the actual gains per
acre in 1952 and in 1953 up to the date
of the field days and the value of fly
control on cattle on pastures.
