four years ago, April 11th, 1949:
Dear "Mother" you meant so much
to us,
Much more than we can say,
It's hard to put our thoughts in words
On this memorial day.
We often think of days gone by
When we were all together,
The family chain is broken now
But memories live forever,
Ever remembered by her husband
and family, Stewart, Velma, Minerva,

The little things she used to do,
I The things she used to say,
Come crowding back to memory
As we think of her to-day,
We still Can treasure every smile,
Each tender word and look,
And keep them as a rose is pressed
In memory's treasured book.
Lovingly remembered and sadly
missed by Mother, Dad and brothers.
