OF HIS GRADUATION
Da Foster Harburn is recalling this
week that it is just fifty years since
he graduated from the Ontario Vet-
erinary College, located at that time
on Temperance St., in downtown Tor-
onto. He and two companions, Bill
Spading and Bert Smith, lived in a
a house nearby on Yonge Street while
attending the school. It took them
sometime to get used to the noise of
the street ears. drays and teamsters.
There were no trucks and practically
no automobiles in Toronto then.
Graduating in the same class were
Dr. Harburn were P. B. Lambie, Brus-
sels; H. E. Holm and T. W. Wilson,
of Atwood, all of whom are now de-ceased.
Dr' iarburn practised at Mitchell
for six months, and then moved to
Seaforth in September, 1903, where he
has since remained. He retired from
practise a few years ago.—Scatorth
