Mr. Harry Sansom was in Toronto,
recently visiting his cousin. The three act comedy ;The Two
Brats" was presented in the Gordo
Community Hall on Tuesday evening,
March 24th, by Gowanstown Women's
Institute and sponsored by the Gorrie
Women's Institute. All members of
the cast took their parts well, and the
humorous situations were thoroughly
enjoyed, particularly the fine a.cting,
of the "brats." There was a good at-
tendance. Yvonne Sparling and Erma
Klinek favored' with vocal duets be-
tween acts. They were accompanied
by Mrs, C. Sparling. Mr. Norman
Gadke held the lucky ticket. for the
door prize, Dancing followed with
music by the Fordwich orchestra.

March 23rd. The meeting opened with
the purpose and the Lord's prayer.
The diary of a missionary was read.
After this, work was done on the pro-
ject. Plans were completed for the
Variety Concert to be held on April
13th., in the Community Hall. The
meeting closed with taps. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess.

on spending a few days next week in
Rochester, New York. He will attend
tn Easter series of lecture at the Uni-
versity there.

family, of Kitchener, spent the week-
end with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Downey.

home. Little Darlene Lane returned

Gordon Edgar attended the funeral of
the late Miss Mary Edgar, of Ayr, on
