Collection to Formosa
For some years, the Presbyterian
Sunday School has been setting apart
the collection on the first Sunday of
each month for missions, This has
been used for a special missionary
project and for the last three years
has been sent to Formosa, to help sup-
port a native pastor among the Tyal
tribes in the mountainous regions of
that country. A *hire of this pastor
has been received and hangs on the
walls of the S. 5, room, Also several
letters have come telling of the work.
Owing to the difficulties of travel in
the mountains, these people have been
more or less forgotten by the church
at large.
They are so anxious for the gospel
message, they have offered to build
churches without outside help if the
mission council will just supply them
with pastors. The Sunday School was
able to send $110.00 this year for this
work

Haugh. Another hymn was sung after
