14th, in the Wingham Hospital,
to Mr. and Mrs. Ross Errington,
of W. WawanoSh, a daughter,
is on Manitoulin Island this week deer

Kindersley, Sask., have been visiting
at the home of her sister, Mrs, George
Deyell, and with other relatives in the

Chas. Shiell then gave her report of
Mrs. Gear, formerly Alexia Ann
Morton, of E. Wawanosh, passed away
on Tuesday after three years spent in
Wingham Hospital. She was in her
83rd, year. Her parents, the late Mr.
and Mrs. Alex Morton, came from
Scotland and settled in E, Wawanosh,
and to them were born two sons and
eight daughters, all of whom have
passed away except one daughter,
Mrs. Koepfgen, of Cass City, Mich-
igan, who is in her 97th year. Mrs.
Gear taught in several schools in this
district, when a young wbman.. She

The regular monthly meeting of
the Women's Institute was held in the
Memorial Hall here on Tuesday last,
with an attendance cif 60, The presi-
dent, Mrs. Jas, McInnis, presided,
the Guelph Area Convention, held at
Kitchener. Mrs. Alex Robertson also
!gave the report of the afternoon .es-
sloe, The meeting was closed by sing-
