Laura. Margaret McBurney, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. John C. McBurney,
of Belgrave, was united in marriage with Kenneth E. Barbour, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Elwood Barbour, of R.R. 2, Lucknow, in St, Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, Wingham.

fornia, to visit with their brother, Nor-
man McGill, While there they travelled.

Miss Isabella Kirton
Passes in London
At London hospital on Wednesday,
October 22nd„ there entered into rest
a lifelong citizen of Turnherry Town-
ship, in the person of Isabella Kirton,
following a lingering illness, the last
year of which was spent in the •hos-
pital.
In her 88th year, Miss Kirton was a
daughter of the late James Kirton and
Elizabeth Grey, pioneers of Turnberry,
She is survived by one brother, John,
a niece, Mrs. Elizabeth Leslie, who
resided with her, and a nephew, Eldon,
of the 4th line of Turnberry,
Miss Kirton was born on the farm
4th line of Turnberry, where she spent
her entire life. She was a kind neigh-
bor and friend and dearly belovedt by
her many friends in the community.
She was a member of the Presbyterian
church,
Funeral services were held from
her late home on Saturday afternoon,
with Rev. Matthew Bailie, of Bluevale
Presbyterian Church, in charge, Pall-
bears were Eldred Nichol, Wm. Dett-
man, Raymond Elliott, James Elliott,
John McTavish and Ward Sharpin,
Floral tributes were carried by nep-
hews of the deceased. Interment was
made in Wroxeter cemetery.

more. Interment was in Wingham
Cemetery, pallbearers being six, nep-
hews, Harvey Leslie, Murray Doss,
Fred Doubleclee, Gordon Wray, Nor-
