Hambly became the bride of Carlyle
McKee Simmons. The couple exchang-
ed vows before laelge standards of
pastel gladioli and the ReV, W. R.
Tristram officiated.
The bride wore ballerina-length
white nylon mariehisette over taffeta
and a coronet of white roses and lily-
of-the-valley held her finger-tip veil.
She was attended by the groom's sis-
ter, Miss Evelyn Simmons, as maid
of honour, wearing a ballerina-length
green nylon net over taffeta with
matching headdress, and she carried
a nosegay of yellow roses and baby
'mums.
Janie Hambly was her sister's flow-
er girl, dressed in mauve nylon sheer
K. Max Hambly, Waterloo, the
bride's brother, was "groomsman,
Guests were received in the Royal
Inn, Harriston, where the bride's
mother wore navy crepe and lace
with corsage of red roses and the
groom's mother 0,ehose powder blue
and lace with corsage of pink roses.
For a trip to Northern Ontario and
the United States, the bride donned
a purple figured nylon dress with
royal purple accessories, orchid top-
coat and corsage of Queen Elizabeth
yellow roses.
The couple will live in Vordwich.

The maid-of-honour, Miss Marion
McIver of Kincardine, chose a blue
satin gown of nylon net, and her. veil
was crowned by a coronet of sequins.
Miss Donanne Caesar, bridesmaid,
wore a pink nylon gown of embroider-
ed net and a veil, held by a headdress
of roses. Little Patsy Anderson was
the flower girl in yellow organdy and
lace. Jimmy Anderson was ring bear-
er. The ushers were Harold Erring-
ton and John ,Park,
The reception was held at the Hotel
Brunswick in Wingham. Guests were
present from Toronto, Kincardine,
Glamis, Goderich and Stratford.
For her wedding trip to Montreal
and the Eastern States, the bride
chose a white linen suit, trimmed
with navy and carried navy accessor-
ies. She wore a corsage of red roses.
The couple will reside in Dungannon
on their return.
Audrey McCutcheon
Wroxeter Bride
Before an arch of evergreen en-
twined with flowers, centred with, a
white wedding bell and banked with
baskets of gladioli, on the lawn of her
home, Audrey Doreen McCutcheon,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
McCutcheon, RR 1 ,Bluevale, became
the bride of James Oliver Riley, son
of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Riley, of
Brussels. The wedding which took
place on Wednesday, Aug. 27th, was
conducted by Rev. Boggs.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride was lovely in • a gown of
white Chantilly lace with a skirt of
nylon net over taffeta, and featuring
a fitted, strapless bodice with match-
ing lace jacket and lily point sleeves
with the high pointed collar and tiny
buttons to the waist. Her fingertip
Veil of embroidered het fell gracefully
from a halo of seed pearls and silver
beads. She carried a cascade bouquet
of sweet heart roses and gladioli and
wore the groom's gift of three strands
of pearls. For something old the
bride wore her grandmother's en-
gagement ring, topped with her grand-
father's gold cuff links set in rubies.
The maid-of-honour, Miss Shirley
McMieheel, wore a yellow gown of
embossed net over taffeta, featuring
a strapless bodice with net jacket and
matching headdress. She carried a
bouquet of mauve gladioli. Miss Helen
Louise Pocock, bridesmaid, chose
green embossed organise over taffeta
with nylon yoke Caught with seed
Pearls and matching headdress. She
carried a, bouquet of peach gladioli.
Little Darlene Brothers, the flower
girl, was, pretty in pink nylon over
taffeta, featuring a long full skirt and
headdress of flowers, and darried a
nosegay of matching flowers.
Mrs. Harold Harniltein was the solo=
let, accompanied by Mrs. Lyle , Bro-
thers, test man Was John Kerr and
Glenn McMichael Was an usher.
At the reception held in the base-
ment of Wroxeter United church, the
bride's mother received in navy sheer
over aecordian pleated taffeta with
rtavec accessories and corsage of pink
rases, She was assisted by the groom's

Gwen Stewart Wed
Al Dungannon
Erskine Presbyterian Church, Dun-
gannon, was the scene of a pretty
wedding on Saturday at 3 p.m., when
Gwendolyn Ann Stewart, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Stewart, Dun-
gannon, ,became the bride of John
N. Caesar, son of Mrs. W. H. Caesar
and the late Mr. Caesar of Dungan-
non, Rev. C. A. Winn performed the
ceremony. Miss Barbara Wilson play-
ed the 'wedding music and the soloist
was Miss Margaret Black.
Given in marriage by her father, the
bride" was lovely in a satin gown, with
long sleeves, fitted bodice of French
lace with nylon yoke, Queen Anne
collar, and four-tiered nylon lace
skirt. Her nylon veil, appliqued with
satin wedding bells, was held in place
by a tiara of pearls. She carried a
corsage of Better time roses. They
left on a wedding trip to Northern
Ontario and, on their return, will
reside in Brussels.
Double Ring Ceremony

A pretty double-ring wedding cere-
rnony,took place in the United Church
parsonage, Wingham, when Rev, W.
A, leeecroft united in marriage Della
Alecla, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John Martin, of Wingham, and Hugh
Crozier, son of Mi, and Mrs. Howard
Crozier, Alvinston.
The bride, given in marriage by her
father, wore a street-length dress of
white nylon marquisette over taffeta,
fashioned with a full skirt. The fitted
bodice featured a Peter Pan Collar and
puffed sleeves, She wore a crown of
seed pearls and carried a nosegay of
red Rosette roses.
Miss Barbara Crozier, sister of the
groom, attended the bride. She wore
pink nylon marquisette over taffeta,
fashioned with full skirt, fitted bodice
and matching headdress and carried
a nosegay of pink and white gladioli
Petals.
Leonard Moody, of Leamington, at-
tended the groom.
A wedding reception for the im-
mediate family and friends was held
in the Brunswick Hotel. For her
daughter's wedding the bride's mo-
ther chose a green faille crepe dress
and a corsage of pink Rosette roses.
The groom's mother wore a navy ga-
bardine suit and a corsage of white
baby mums.
Guests were present from Alvins-
ton, Petrolia, Sarnia, Wheatly, Lea-
mington, London, Wroxeter and
Wingham.
For a trip through Northern Ontario
the bride donned a navy tailored suit:
of gabardine with red accessories and
a corsage of white baby mums. Upon
their return Mr. and Mrs. Crozier
will reside in Leamington.
