Kath- leen Fisher sang "Waltz of the Wind", and "Cold, Cold Heart", with Mary Fisher at the piand. Wayne Farrier played "An Indian Wigwam" on the piano, Mrs. George McClunaghan gave a very interesting report of the district annual meeting and three Ia- dies gave papers on "Public Relations and Community Activities", Mrs. Vic- tor Emerson spoke on "Press Clip- pings" and their value to the meet- ings. Mrs. Milian Moore spoke on the social purpose of the meetings and Mrs. Alex Robertson spoke on the housewife's resolutions, based on bet- ter living in home and community, The roll-call was answered by naming a native of Huron or Bruce holding a public office. Allan Miller, of S.S. No, e ,and Gordon Fisher ,of S.S. No, 10, Kinloss, were each presented with $5. as a prize for having the highest standing in Grade 8. Allan was present and thanked the ladies, and Mrs. Fisher thanked them, for Gor- don, The singing of the National Anthem closed the meeting.
