Bell and Mary Oliver Bell of Morris Township, She was married 88 years ago to Leslie Fear and went to live on a farm on the 8th concession of Mor. ris, where they lived until five years ago when they retired to Blyth. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Higgins, Drumbo; Mrs, Bruce (Mabel) Smith, Morris; three grandchildren, two brothers, Frank Bell, Morris and Robert Bell, Stratford. R. 1, Gorrie, was solemnized at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Gorrie, at 11.45 on Wednes- day, April 9th., by the Rev. G, D. Vogan. The bride was attired in a grey blue suit with navy and white accessafies, and a corsage of red roses and sweet peas. Miss Joan Vittie, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, wearing an aqua suit and corsage of yellow roses and sweet peas. Carl Stewart was best man. ' A reception . was held at the home of the bride's uncle,Cleve Vittie. The room was decorated with pink and white streamers and bells, The bride's mother wore a navy blue dress with a corsage of pink rosebuds. The groom's mother wore royal blue and a corsage of pink rosebuds. Serving the wedding guests were Mrs. D. Clegg, Mrs. C. Stokes and Mrs. E. Stewart.,.. After the reception the bride and groom left on a trip, through southern Ontario and to Niagara Falls, Upon their return they will reside on the groom's farm near Gorrie. George Clayton Gammage, Welland, son of Mr. and Mrs. G, C, Gammage, Wingham. Rev, A. W, J. McMullen officiated, and Miss Lois Beck played wedding music, Given in marriage by her stepfather, the bride wore a gown of white lace over satin and a matching lace cap which held her fingertip veil of em- broidered tulle illusion, She carried a nosegay of white carnations and white sweet peas. Her only attendant was her sister, Miss Ruth McClelland, who was cos- tumed in a gown of pale blue nylon marquisette over blue taffeta, and a matching cap and gloves. She carried a nosegay of pink carnations and pink sweet peas. Roy Wilson was groomsman, and Robert Gammage and Henry Theaker, Guelph, were ushers.
