the Sprouts and end-to-end action
that had both teams hustling with
good scoring chances. This game

pipes.

and meet the same Mitchell team
again. This game was almost a

minute of the game. Brad Ander

second frame to restore Blyth’s
two-goal lead. Brian’s power-play
goal proved to be the winner after a
perfect set up from Brad Anderson.
Zurich’s persistence paid off
early in the third period as they
once again closed the gap to 3-2.
Shortly thereafter Christopher
Howson scored on a screened shot
and held on to a much deserved 6-3
win. Scott Bromley did a super job
in net supporting a fine team effort.

day against a very strong, well
rested Ilderton team. Blyth gave it
their best, but came up short,
missing many good scoring chan

lead. The goal came as a result of
another fine set up from Brad
Anderson.
It was a total team effort as Blyth
advanced to the championship
game against Dorchester with this
hard earned 4-2 victory.
Although Blyth put up a fight,
Dorchester claimed the Champion
ship with a convincing 6-1 win.
Dorchester built a 3-0 lead before

the second period. Brian McNichol
slipped the puck between the
goalie’s legs with assists to Henry
Bos and Ryan Chamney.

Legion Pee Wees in the game with
some solid netminding and the
team had every opportunity to tie
the game up except for some bad
bounces.
Dorchester put the game out of
reach with three goals in the third
period to claim the championship.
Full credit goes to the entire Legion
Pee Wee team as they played
sound hockey on their way to being
tournament runners-up. Congratu
