Sprouts challenge Bulls
Sunday was a very busy day for
the Brussels Bulls.
At 11:00 Sunday morning, the
Brussels Sprouts challenged the
Brussels Bulls to a mini game.
After the introductions took place
the Bulls were paired off with the
Sprouts. The boys and Brittany did
a skating and shooting drill. Then it
was game time. The Sprouts lined
up 19 strong so the Bulls knew they
were in tough from the opening
face off. End-to-end action made
for scoring chances as the Sprouts
kept the pressure on the Bulls.
However, as the dust cleared the
Sprouts had beaten the Bulls 8-3.
to take a well-deserved win.
Following the game the Bulls
presented every Sprout with a
souvenir puck. Everyone went up
stairs for a lunch of scrambled
eggs, hash browns, sausages and
toast. All players sat together and
talked about the game. The Bulls
said thanks to everyone who helped
in the lunch, it was great, and a
special thank you to Wayne Todd
for his engineering and help in this
function.
Following the breakfast the Bulls
players signed autographs for the
young Sprouts.

This week the Bulls have only
one game as they face the third
