The banquet was held at Snell’s Banquet Hall beginning at 7:30 with a pot luck dinner. Mike Pentland, club president, welcom­ ed everyone. Entertainment was performed by Shannon Hallahan, Donna Lynn Armstrong and Patrick Hallahan in a game and skit. Awards were presented to honour the achievements of club members throughout the 4H sea­ son. The top pre-4H member trophy, won by Cheryl Franken, ws donated by Snell’s Feed and Sup­ plies Ltd. Plaques of appreciation for pre-4H’ers Carla Cook and Sheryl Ramsey for completing the 1990 year were presented by Blyth Brook Farms. The Blyth Veterinary Clinic pre­ sented the top Junior Heifer trophy to Bradley Ramsey. Shannon Hall­ ahan accepted the Top Senior Heifer trophy donated by Swiss Valley Farms. Howson and Howson Mills Ltd. donated the top Summer Yearling trophy won by Jamie Hallahan. Patrick Hallahan took home the top Junior Yearling trophy donated by Harry Franken. The top Novice member went to Ryan Hallahan donated by Howatt Bros. The top Junior Showmanship trophy was donated by Kennaim Farms and won by Patrick Hallahan. This year’s top Senior Showman­ ship trophy was won by Arthur Bos donated by Lazy Meadows Dairy Farms Inc. Sharon Ramsey won the Top Record Book trophy donated by the Clinton Veterinary Clinic. Patrick Hallahan went away with his third trophy of the evening, winning the Top Hallrice 4H mem­ ber trophy donated by Auburn Co-op.
