G.S.T RENEW TODAY Third grader McKlllop Township took delivery of its third road grader Friday morning as Champion Road Machinery of Goderich delivered the new machine. Taking part in the presentation are: (front, left to right) Lome Glanville, councillor; Sharon McClure, councillor; Jim Ryan, councillor; Bill Siemon, deputy-reeve; Wayne Dolmage, road superintendent; Marie Hicknell, reeve; Dave Wallace, Champion representative; Hugh McGugan, Ministry of Transportation; (back), Larry Boyd, Champion, Frank Hulley and Tom Johnston, grader operators. White Gift Sunday this week PARTS VALUE OF THE MONTH . theRev. Paul Ross conducted morning service at Knox United Church and Karen Webster was organist. Rev. Ross gave the call to worship and the hymn “Faith of our Fathers” was sung. Rev. Ross gave the Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon followed by Choral Response. The hymn “Jesus Where’er Thy People Meet” was sung. Rev. Ross read scriptures from St. Luke and II Timothy. The hymn “Author of Faith” was sung. Rev. Ross’s sermon was entitled “Fann­ ing the Fire of Faith” followed by the prayer chorus “God is so good”. Rev. Ross gave the prayer of Thanksgiving and Concern and the Lord’s Prayer was said in unison. The offering was received by Larry Plaetzer, Bill Seers and for the Sunday School, David Camp­ bell and Scott Arthur. The hymn “Thy Hand O God Has Guided” was sung. Rev. Ross pronounced the Bene­ diction and the Choral Response “Now Thank We All Our God” ended the service. The Junior Youth Group will meet for swimming at Vanastra on Friday, November 30 at 7 - 9 p.m. Bring $2.25 to cover the cost. The group will be returning to Paul’s place after for a snack. The Bible Study and Prayer Group will meet Tuesday afternoon at the home of Ruth Vincent at 1:30 p.m. Next Sunday is White Gift Sun­ day at Knox United Church.
