A trophy will be presented for the best family farm float. After the parade, children and parents are invited to visit Santa at the Legion Hall, where he will be handing out free bags of candy and fruit. There will also be games for children nine and under at the Legion. Various other activities are being held throughout the course of the day as well. Brussels United Church will be holding a Children’s Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mom and Dad can’t peek, so there will be coffee and goodies available while you wait for your children to do their Christmas shopping. Brussels Figure Skating Club will be selling Christmas cookies in the Church lobby from 1 until 3 p.m. The newly formed Leo Club will be selling Christmas trees at the vacant lot on Turnberry Street.
