Melville church Guild prepares for Christmas The November meeting of Mel­ ville Guild was held on the evening of November 20 at 8 p.m. Kathleen Semple and Eluned McNair were in charge of devo­ tions. Kathleen opened the meet­ ing with a reading “Sunset” followed by the hymn “Fight the good fight”. The scripture was from St. John, chapter 16, verses 20 to 33. Kathleen led in prayer and the topic on Peace was given by Eluned. A poem “I heard it said” was read by Kathleen. The hymn “O God of Bethel” and the Mizpah Benediction closed this part of the meeting. Several items of business were brought up by the president, Margaret Work. The official launch of the Good Neighbours intitiative took place on November 7, in Toronto. Presenting the awards were Isobel Campbell, vice-president of the 4-H Leaders Association and Tanya Boonstoppel, Huron County Dairy Princess. Donnaalso won the C. S.
