They went in and looked at all the things that were used in the olden days. They were very inter esting things such as old radios, stoves, irons, tools and the equip ment used for C.K.N.X. when it started. It was very interesting to tour the museum and see all the old articles used long ago. At the first of the week they took a big pumpkin and carved it into a jack-o-lantern, for their Hallowe’en party on Wednesday. The grade 2 class had a Hallo we’en party on Wednesday and they baked pumpkin loaf and cookies. The 3/4 class learned three notes on the recorders that they are playing. Last Monday the grade 4/5 really enjoyed the story teller Dorothy Bowman. They wrote excellent notes and pictures to mail to her. On Friday they were happy to have Melinda Hussey’s cousin, Niki Sand visit them for the day. They are also happy to announce that they will be having another treat sale on Nov. 22. The Students Council held a dance and Haunted House to celebrate Hallowe’en. The dance was held for grades 4-8 and the Haunted House was for grades K-8. It was pretty scary for the younger kids, but the older ones took it in stride.
