Harry Smith won $381.50 in the
50-50 Draw held in conjunction
with the Lost Heir tournament.
There were eight teams participa

McGuire, and third Jim Smith and
Bill Beirnes.
Monday evening was the beginn
ing of the new euchre season and

were the hosts for the Hall Board.
Eight tables were in play. Win

SEAFORTH COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
CHIEF OF STAFF: Effective October 1, 1990 Dr. Alexander
Haines has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff for the
Hospital. TheHospital would like toexpress their thanks to Dr.
KennethRodneyforhistimeandcommitment. Hehas held this
important position for the past six years.
PHYSIOTHERAPY NEWS: Over 60 persons attended the
“Arthritis Information Night’’ Monday, September 26. Many
were very appreciative of the expert information offered by the
panel of speakers representing dietary, lab, pharmacy and
physio departments at the hospital. Particular thanks go to Dr.
K. Rodney, Dr. Bell and Agnes Agnelli for their professional
input as well.

As Thelma Keffer always has a
joke handy she gave the smile for
the evening. The next meeting will
be held at the home of Thelma
Keffer at 8:15 p.m. on October 16
with Thelma giving a travelogue of
her summer trip to Alaska.

weeks visiting with her sister

Bible Study and Prayer Group
will meet on Tuesday, October 9 at
1:30 p.m. at the home of Kay Lapp,
Auburn.
The Senior Youth Group will
meet Thursday evening from 7 - 9
p.m. for a game of flags. If you
don’t know where to go phone
either Paul or Grace Potter.
There will be no Service or
Sunday School next Sunday. The
congregation will be worshipping
with Knox United Church in Au
burn for their anniversary.
The Sacrament of Baptism will
be held on October 28. The worship
and music committee will meet
