Farm Brussels hosts banquet Princess crowned Brussels will play host to the annual banquet of the Huron County Federatin of Agriculture Oct. 12. Cathy McKinley, a partner in McKinley Hatcheries will speak on negotiations of the General Agree­ ment on Tariffs and Trade. A graduate of the Dean’s Honour List of the University of Western Ontario she had established a firm reputation with the hatchery and her work in business. At the meeting there will be an election for the president and two vice presidents as well as six directors at large. Two cows consigned by John Groups promote Agri-Week BY NICK GELEYNSE RURAL ORGANIZATION SPECIALIST Agri-Food Week, celebrated the week before Thanksgiving (Sep­ tember 30 - October 6) is a showcase of the abundance and quality of food grown in Ontario. It’s an opportunity for local groups to promote agricultural awareness. Ten Huron County organizations will be promoting their product from October 4 - 6 at the Suncoast Mall in Goderich. They are part of an Agri-Food Week mall display which will encourage consumers to test their knowledge and learn more about the food we eat.
